NEVER WEATHER-BEATEN SAILE
This year (2020) is the 400th anniversary of the sailing of the Mayflower with the Pilgrim Fathers to escape persecution and begin a new life in America. To mark this anniversary the Friends` Musick chamber choir will tell the story of that fateful voyage in words and music. Narrated by a descendant of one of the passengers, with additional narrative from one of the singers descended from William Brewster – a key figure among the Pilgrims.
Bell House is a Grade 2 Listed property, Architect Edwin Lutyens (built in 1767 for
Thomas Wright, who became Sheriff of London in 1779 and Lord Mayor of London in 1785).
